A roleplaying blog featuring my Bleach OC, Mielelambda, and eventually other Bleach OCs that may follow in the future. This blog is mutuals only so to make sure the people I follow are actually interested in my content.Given how little experience I have with RP spaces, I reserve the right to be selective with crossovers, limiting interactions to muses from media I feel enough knowledgeable about. If I follow you first, do know that I am absolutely interested in RPing with you, so don't hesitate to initiate in any way you feel most comfortable with! As someone who's very easily intimidated, I know it's not always easy to just jump in and see what happens.Do know that my DMs are always open for any doubts you may have.I will do my very best to get back at you and reciprocate the time you dedicate me.I will do my very best to get back at you and reciprocate the time you dedicate me.My threads and DMs don't have an expiration date. Sometimes the muse just isn't there, life gets in the way, or you simply don't have the spoons to reply to threads/DMs. I understand that! Please never feel pressured to reply to me. I much prefer my RP partners to feel at ease and respected rather than have them rush things for the sake of content.I will wait as long as you need, and if you feel like one of the prompts or starters I sent your way isn't of your liking, feel free to let me know so I can send you something else or fix the starter.I'm also 100% for building connections and making new friends. Come vibe with me on Discord or in DMs whenever you feel like it, even for non-RP related purposes. Just do know that I'm absolutely incapable of multitasking, so if I'm working on replies or gaming, chances are I'll take a while to respond.
belonging, forming bonds, learning the ways of a new world, healing, growing, self-acceptance and self-determination
Due to variable energy levels and anxiety, I may reply slowly to our threads or messages. I apologize in advance.Timezone: GMT+1.I work 8 hours a day with a 2-hour lunch break, plus dreaded social gatherings that may take me a way for the evenings and time to dedicate to my longfic. I will answer DMs as soon as I can, and will let you know in case I’ll need to be unavailable for longer than my working hours.Sometimes, I may be able to respond to DMs at work, but that is not the norm. Please be assured I’m not ignoring you even if you see me reblogging stuff! I may just not be in the mental space to reply accordingly.I much prefer to answer threads/asks/plotting conversations when I'm at home, so if you do see me online but are waiting for a response, be assured it's in my draft or that I have a post-it to remind me of it when I get home.
memes, prompted/unprompted asks, dash comms, open starters, plotting/interaction calls... anything you see on my blog is free for you to take and reply to (unless it's a closed starter).Do not hesitate to contact me through DMs or discord for anything, whether it is for plotting, for any of your concerns, questions or just to say hi, I'll be most thankful.I'm also available to roleplay on Discord, though I've yet to do that consistently so I ask for your patience and help to figure out how to make it fun and stress-free for both of us.Please know that I'm a very shy person who struggles a lot with self-acceptance, and confidence in my work tends to fluctuate a lot. I love what I'm doing but chances are I will perpetually think I'm bothering people, or that I'm not doing a good job, even if I know that's just my own perception of me. I know OCs aren't everyone's cup of tea and honestly I respect that.If you wish, feel free to continue any interaction we may have or have had in the past, even if it's just some silly ask game reply. I don't mind continuing threads and don't have a set length for them.If you need me to trim my posts or continue our thread in a new post, please let me know and I will do just that. I try my best to be mindful and trim longer replies, but I'm not the best at identifying when it's the right time to continue a thread under a new post.
Some physical depictions of pregnancy, childbirthAll potentially triggering content will be tagged accordingly.
This blog is multiship.I will never assume anything about your muses right off the bat, nor impose any dynamics or my verse details on them. I will only engage in shipping after proper communication and planning with the other mun.Without that, my muse(s) will NOT engage in behaviour that could be interpreted as an attempt from me to ship our characters. I will respect your exclusivity or your simple desire of not shipping with Miele/other OCs that may follow.I ask you not to forcefully ship Miele with your muse, and to discuss any potential shipping with me before sending shippy asks/threads. If anything just to make it clear to me that you're ok with our muses taking a certain direction.
Miele will adapt to your AU in case their characteristics won’t exactly fit - again, communication is key, so I’m sure we’ll be able to find a way!
Eventual smut will be tagged accordingly.I will only discuss nsfw/smut interactions with other legal adults. Please be transparent about your age, as I was with mine (see pinned and "about" section). Even then, please let me know if you’re planning to include heavy or sexual themes in our threads.Again, this is my first time ever experiencing RP spaces, so thank you for your patience! I still don’t know what I’m most comfortable with.

Miele doesn't posses Japanese heritage and is unfamiliar with Japanese customs and culture. This is reflected in my writing: rather than using Japanese honorifics, as they keep shinigami as a whole in high esteem, you'll see them use official titles (lieutenant/captain) and English honorifics (sir/lady/mr./mrs./noble/dear) even with people they're already acquainted with. (Note: their use of "nee" or "naa" is a verbal tic and not meant to be mimicking any Japanese word or interjection). Howerver, they have absolutely no problem with being addressed with them, and just won't respond with Japanes ehonorifics in return. As per fellow Arrancars, their attitude is much less polite at first, since Miele has been living as prey for most of their life in Hueco Mundo and can hardly shake off the emotional consequences.
This is more like a HC of mine for all Arrancars (that nobody has to abide to as per all my other HCs), but food made for souls in the Soul Society does not have the right nutrients an Arrancar needs to survive and stay healthy. They need to consume another soul at least once in a while to keep their strength. Arrancars can eat and appreciate normal soul food just fine, but they can't live off solely that, as it will fill their stomach but not provide them with an energy source (think of it as a state of low sugar drive). To counter this, and to prevent the Arrancars from the Unit from eating souls instead of purifying them, the Twelfth division is tasked with creating special supplements in the form of tablets. These tablets are then periodically delivered to the singular members of the unit as part of their regular equipment.
Miele doesn't identify as any gender, and won't mind the usage of any pronoun. They'll be fine with whatever pronouns their romantic partner decides to use, though they'll appreciate if said partner uses gender-neutral terms like "dear" rather than "princess", for example.
MIELE, THE ARRANCAR Mielelambda is a naturally-born Arrancar who, by the time of the battle for Fake Karaukra and Aizen's defeat, has been wandering Hueco Mundo for the last 300 years.During this time, they're extremely avoidant of other Hollows and actively hostile to those aligned with Aizen. While they outright refuse to serve authority imposed through tyranny, they lead a purposeless life with the only goal of preserving themselves. They aren't strong enough to compete with other Arrancars and too wary of others to join a pack: thus, their existence is void of any meaning, and feels destined to live as that, unseen and unheard.
MIELE, THE SHINIGAMI When first introduced to the Soul Society, Miele is an anxious mess. Not only they have to get used to the day-night cycle, but also to all the other natural aspects of their new home which were absent in Hueco Mundo. Their ears, which were used to detect the tiniest variations in perpetual silence, are now constantly subjected to close and repeating noises, which urges them to make adjustments and limit their hearing range to that of an average shinigami. In addition, despite those involved in the implementation of the Cooperative Arrancar Program reassuring them of their rights as a member of the Gotei 13, they see themselves as a nuisance and source of discomfort for other shinigami: they struggle to look at them in the eyes and often spends days without uttering a single word out of fear. Basically, everything is new and scary. It’s their fear of braking the Gotei 13’s rules, an offense that could mean their banishment back to Hueco Mundo, that which prompts them to collect scrap newspapers and any form of written information they can get their hands on, even if it means digging them out of the trash. Thanks to their dedication, they learn the Third Division’s rules set by heart and gain general knowledge of many things in the Soul Society. After gaining enough confidence, and thanks to their Division's efforts to make them feel safe as a fellow member, Miele’s true personality finally shines through: curious, creative and caring, they retain some introverted traits while also putting all of themselves into the well-being of their division. With time, Miele manages to learn and grow attached to the shinigami lifestyle, falling in love with the unpredictability of life in Soul Society and considering themselves a full-fledged shinigami as well as an Hollow.
In battle, their Hollow instincts tend to take over caution and self-preservation. Miele can boast an impressive sonido and dexterity at the cost of modest reiatsu levels, usually going for rapid but precise hits and close combat. When the situation gets dire, it's not uncommon for them to acquire a more "animalistic" approach with powerful bites, kicks and Ceros. Their hierro is quite sturdy, but they're often not able to condense their reiryoku in time to escape a direct hit unscathed.

DISCLAIMER: if your muse is featured in any of the verses below, I do not mean to impose any of the following information upon them. Please do hit me up in case you feel like addressing or leaving out any elements mentioned - my top priority will always be to make my RP partners comfortable and respected.
"FELIS MARGARITA"
base for all verses, origins → end of Fake Karakura Arc Mielelambda is a naturally born lone Adjuchas-class Arrancar who's been roaming the vast dusty plains of Hueco Mundo for several hundreds of years before Aizen's arrival. Their sole purpose during this time is pure survival: not a very strong fighter in terms of direct battle, their arsenal consists of their ears, able to pick up even the faintest sounds from kilometers away, united with notable dexterity and speed. Thanks to their exceptional hearing allowing them to detect and subsequentially avoid stronger Hollows and Arrancars, Miele manages to live off small or dead prey while maintaining a good distance from both Baraggan's subjects and later Aizen's, at the cost of growing incredibly wary of his own kin and knowingly leading a purposeless existence by not aligning with anyone but themselves. They only live to survive another day, another hour, another minute. Loneliness is the price to pay for the highest chance of being alive for a little longer. Those who are lucky enough to catch a brief glimpse of the feline Arrancar among the white dunes, a presence as faint and transient as that of a mirage, tell stories of a small, ferocious creature that not even Baraggan's himself with his mist of Death could catch, and coin the name "Sand Cat" to refer to them.If Baraggan's rule was easy to avoid, Aizen and his army bring forth a whole new series of complications. Not only does Miele have to keep their presence as low-key as possible to avoid being recruited among the Números; new Arrancars appear, created through the Hōgyoku, whose unimaginable power inevitably ends up bringing havoc among those Hollows who live outside the walls of Las Noches. Avoiding the massacres, the hunger-crazy survivors and the Espadas themselves become more difficult every day for a weak scavenger like Miele. That is until one day, after a conflict unheard of in the entire history of Hueco Mundo, which they spectate from afar... the shinigami tyrant and his generals leave, and don't ever come back. In their stead, with most of the Espadas dead or missing, comes Tier Harribel. Her fame precedes her: Miele can finally sigh in relief... until about a couple of months later.
"FELIS CATUS"
MAIN VERSE, pre-TYBW
(default verse for casual interactions unless specified otherwise)“When I first arrived, I was afraid of the sun.”After Aizen's defeat, Hueco Mundo is now under Harribel's reign. Despite her moderate views, stability has yet to be established: the amount of Hollows decimated by the Espada and the sudden void of power created by their disappearance has made the "stray" Gillians and Adjuchas extremely aggressive, and so Miele's lifestyle is still under threat. A higher number voracious Hollows implies less leftovers, and scarcer prey all together.Made weak by having to constantly hide and run away from danger with limited food at their disposal, Miele is one day finally caught, though not by one of their brethren. In the meantime, in the Soul Society, a proposition is brought in front of Captain-Commander Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto: in order to establish proper collaboration with the new ruling body of Hueco Mundo, Captains Shunsui Kyōraku and Jūshirō Ukitake suggest recruiting Arrancars into the ranks of the Gotei 13. The main goal of the propositions is twofold: bolstering the ranks of Gotei 13 with already experienced warriors, and creating allies to strengthen the pact of non-belligerence with Hueco Mundo.Captain-Commander Yamamoto, at first opposed to the idea, finally caves into Kyōraku's insisting remarks. The Arrancars would be recruited by a specific shinigami contingent sent periodically to Hueco Mundo to scout with proper permission from Queen Harribel for adequate candidates. The selected elements, after a series of aptitude tests and a personal interview with the Captain-Commander himself, would be welcomed to form the "Cooperative Arrancar Unit", named after the collaborative nature of the participants.Yamamoto's conditions for establishing the unit are simple: the members of the unit are to be strictly monitored by Onmitsukidō agents when not in the vicinity of a Lieutenant or higher-ranking officer, and that they are not to form a cohesive group but to be distributed among the thirteen divisions, as to suppress any eventual attempts at mutiny as much as possible.Mielelambda becomes one of the first Arrancars to come across the recruitment contingent. Starving, weak, and wounded, they find themselves unable to avoid the group of shinigami, who offer them the chance of a lifetime: leaving Hueco Mundo to become a soldier at the service of the people who had freed them of Aizen's tyranny. Miele accepts, mainly because it's the choice that, at that moment, can save them and allow them to live another day, another hour, another minute.Once arrived in Soul Society, Miele is first kept in a cell over at the First Division barracks for the duration of the testing period. Kyōraku is the one overseeing the admission process and supposedly Miele's future Captain; however, something about the nature of this Arrancar catches his eye: they're meek, obedient, almost frightened --and yet, while they struggle to look him in the eye, their gaze turns curious when met with what is not known to exist in their plane of origin, like the sun.Intrigued by how observant and delicate they seem, Shunsui decides that there may be someone better suited than him to handle this peculiar individual, someone whose very nature is complementary to that of Arrancars and may also have the appropriate sensitivity to understand them: Rōjūrō "Rose" Ōtoribashi, recently reinstated as Captain of the Third Division. Thus, Captain-Commander Yamamoto lays out their mission: Miele is to serve under the Third Division as a shinigami in defense of the Seireitei. Resolutely accepting the new opportunity bestowed upon them by fate, Miele accepts, in hopes that this new path will provide them with a less painful life.Their first days in the Third soon become a comfortable routine: wake up, head straight to the training grounds, perform the day’s assigned duties and immediately head back to safety. All that they come to experience for the first time, from the vibrant colors of flowers to the variable weather, soon becomes dear to Miele, whose gratitude to Captain Kyōraku, Captain Ōtoribashi, and Lieutenant Kira Izuru for allowing them to experience such beauty grows by the minute. While their affinity with nature and animals thrives, Miele faces significant trouble with interacting with other shinigami, often spending the day without uttering a single word or looking at a single person’s face. Despite them genuinely admiring their fellow shinigami and wishing to help them to the best of their abilities, their difficulty in forging bonds renders them a lonely and fragile creature.

"FELIS CATUS"
TYBW and after
(this sections implies the validity of "Felis Catus" - pre-TYBW and is to be interpreted as its natural continuation)Up to the start of the war, Miele has finally reached some sort of stability in their new life as a shinigami. They are now far more confident and extroverted with their colleagues, and have managed to establish themselves as a reliable and thoughtful member of their division. The Quincy attack, however, destroys the peace they have come to love in a matter of hours. The first invasion kills several of the Third's seated officers: Miele manages to survive, at the cost of witnessing many of their comrades and Izuru's (apparent) demise. Paralyzed by terror and grief, they spend the rest of the attack desperately searching for help.Having done little else due to their psychological state, Miele spends a good first portion of the time between the first and second invasion blaming themselves for Izuru and the rest of the division's fate. All they wish is to be by his side, but his body has been brought to the Twelfth Division's labs and no information on his condition can be disclosed. Disheartened, their only joy is found in assisting Captain Ōtoribashi with preparations for the return of the Quincy, including training with him personally. When the Wandenreich rises, Miele is much more focused and firm in their resolve. Rose gives them the task of guiding the rest of the Division while he fends off the Sternitters, and that they do... until they hear the distant sound of his bankai ceasing suddenly, as his reiatsu vanishes. Miele launches themselves to find their Captain, ignoring his very own instructions --they won't let another person dear to them suffer without doing anything to prevent it, under no circumstances.Once they finally find Rose, they're overjoyed to see him alive... but something is off. He's emotionless, alone, and most of all, cold to the touch. After a strenous fight in which they're forced to call upon their Resurrección for the very first time in their life, Miele is cut down by their own zombified Captain. When they wake up, the war has ended. Izuru is ..."alive". Captain Ōtoribashi has recovered from his zombified state. They may be safe, but world has ended: everything, including bonds, has to be reconstructed.
"PUMA CONCOLOR"
aka Fracción AU, implies the validity of "Felis margarita" (see VERSES section) and is to be interpreted as its continuationAfter long centuries spent as a solitary Arrancar unwilling to associate themselves with others of their kind, the coming of Aizen and his army completely disrupts Hueco Mundo's ecosystem, already unruly and fragile on its own. The frequency with which "new" Arrancar are born sets off heavy variations in the otherwise regular flow of reishi in the atmosphere, causing less developed Hollows to become more vigilant, aggressive, and consequently more difficult to hunt. The unprecedented violence perpetrated by the Espada contributes to the eradication of large quantities of Hollows, sometimes repeatedly and in very short spans of time, further destabilizing the established food chain.Miele's lifestyle has become unsustainable. With prey increasingly scattered across the vastness of the White Sands, it is only a matter of time before their resources and luck both run out. There are faint, whispered rumors, audible only to ears as sensitive as theirs, about the Espada being regularly sent out in search of "free" Arrancar to subjugate, in order to bolster Aizen's forces. Clinging to the last remaining pieces of their pride and refusing to be found first, Miele comes to the conclusion that their only hope of survival lies over the Fortress's walls. They turn their gaze to the white bastions under the moon, and set off.Once received into Aizen's ranks, having been reborn long before many others Números, they are assigned the number 30. They retain their doubts about how a Shinigami can possibly bring peace and prosperity to a realm plagued and sustained by violence; however, as a prime opportunist, they begrudgingly accept the fact that serving him is, at the moment, the option with the highest chance of survival. Given the vast distances their hearing can cover, the Sand Cat is often appointed the role of lookout, or "radar", tasked with detecting potential rampaging clusters of Hollows, undiscovered Vasto Lorde, intruders, and any other events that could threaten the security of Las Noches. And so they return to spend their days in solitude, immersed in the silence of Hueco Mundo, often perched on high places where they can best filter out the Espada's noisy quarrels, listening, waiting.[This verse can be adapted for Espada muses to have Miele become your muse's Fracción, whether it's before or after they reach Las Noches. Request to plot something on those terms are highly welcomed!]
